About Me

Hello! My name is Aamirah Trammell, I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI for the first 16 years of my life. My mom decided to move California and after some convincing, I figured that I would have more and better opportunities here so I pack up my things and followed my mom here I have loved it here ever since. I have many hobbies, I enjoy doing include painting, graphic design, music, cooking, and traveling. The paintings that I love doing the most are ones painted on one side of a piece of clear acrylic and flipped around to show the layers of work that went into making it. Most of the time I am listening to music, whether I am relaxing, doing chores around the house, or completing homework. I like all genres with the exception of country music, but my top favorites are pop rock and R&B.

This is my second year as a Graphic Design Major; before now, I was a Nutrition science major and a general chemistry major before that. I did not have the passion to continue in the sciences and I have some experience in visually designing websites with tools like Squarespace and WordPress and I loved it; I figured why not continue to do something that I really enjoy but learn how to do it the professional way. When I graduate from CBU. The most rewarding aspect of UX design would be seeing how satisfied the customer is with your work, after you have put your all into making it the best work that you could do. My ultimate dream would be to work for a design firm that would allow me to flex my creative muscles in many different ways and to assist customers in making their dreams to come to fruition.
